The founder of Community Concord, Deepa Sadula, who gets the community together on all special occassions like Indian festivals or any local events was invited to meet Mayor Boris at MCR (Mayor's Community Reception). MCR recognises volunteers and leaders of community group who help in keeping up the safety and spirit of London. Volunteers of Barking & Dagenham, Newham & Tower Hamlets, City of London attended it at the Town Hall.
